Judge Lew, a frequent visitor to Las Vegas, will be presenting a talk on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, 6:30 p.m. on The Life of a Judge.

Charlie's Lakeside is located at the corner of Sahara and Durango. This event is sponsored by the Summerlin Lions Club.

Join us for dinner next Friday, August 6, 2010, with the Board of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. ABALV, like many other organizations, is an affiliate of NAPABA. Come dine with the Board as they descend on Las Vegas for their quarterly meeting to plan for this Fall's conference (in Los Angeles, on November 18 to 21). Dinner at Satay starts at 6 pm.

Join us after work for sangria and ahi tuna tostada appetizers at Mundo. Nestled in stylish World Market Center, Mundo features chef Robert Solano's own twist on noveau Mexican. Las Vegas Weekly hails Mundo's pork carnitas as "the best you've ever tried." And although our Blue Books kept getting in the way during our own lunch visit, we did enjoy the chipotle-marinated Chilean sea bass tacos and the braised short rib enchiladas.

This ABA-LV event will run from 5pm to 8 pm. Parking is ample, and the sangria will be fresh.
